What We Collect
AppealPath does not require you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, or personal health information.
What Stays on Your Device
- Conversation history with Patient Advocate
- Purchase status and question counter
- App preferences and settings
This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to AppealPath servers.
Patient Advocate Messages
When you send a message to Patient Advocate, that message and relevant conversation context are transmitted to OpenAI's API to generate a response. This transmission is subject to OpenAI's privacy policy, available at openai.com/privacy. Do not include sensitive personal health information such as Social Security numbers, Medicare numbers, or detailed medical records in your Patient Advocate messages.
In-App Purchases
Purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). AppealPath does not receive or store your payment information.
Analytics
AppealPath may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how features are used in aggregate (no personally identifiable data). No advertising networks are used. No data is sold.
